WENT TO PENALTIES

Rangers hosted Celtic at Ibrox Stadium in the "Old Firm" derby. The match, which ended 0-0 after regular time and extra time, saw Celtic prevail 4-2 in the penalty shootout, securing their place in the semi-finals.

While some of the 7,500 Celtic fans following the match in the stands entered the field to celebrate the victory, a brief scuffle occurred when Rangers fans joined them.

Police and security personnel attempted to prevent the situation from escalating by setting up a barricade between the fans. During this time, foreign objects were thrown onto the field.

In a statement from the Scottish Football Association (SFA), it was said, "The Federation condemns the behavior of fans who entered the playing area after the Scottish Cup quarter-final match at Ibrox Stadium today. An investigation will be conducted immediately in accordance with protocol."
