After Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu returned to the CHP Chairman position with a decision of absolute nullity and announced his 19-member MYK, another critical step was taken. It was announced that the disciplinary board of the CHP will convene tomorrow.
POSSIBLE AGENDA OF CHP'S DISCIPLINARY MEETING: "EXPULSIONS"
Tense hours are unfolding in the party after Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to his role as CHP Chairman by court order, announced his new 19-member Central Executive Board (MYK). The CHP High Disciplinary Board, chaired by Kılıçdaroğlu, will meet tomorrow. In the capital's corridors, it is being discussed that at this meeting, opposition figures within the party and those resisting Kılıçdaroğlu's chairmanship will be brought to the table with requests for expulsion.
MÜSLİM SARI ANNOUNCED THE FIRST MYK DECISIONS
Meanwhile, Müslim Sarı, who was reappointed as CHP Party Spokesperson by Kılıçdaroğlu, appeared before the cameras after the first Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting. Stating that the party's boards will begin working promptly, Sarı announced that the Party Assembly (PM) meeting will be held on June 11 and that the High Disciplinary Board will also hold its first meeting.
"OUR CHAIRMAN WILL SPEAK ON TUESDAY"
Clearly stating that Kılıçdaroğlu will be the one at the podium despite Özgür Özel's assertive remarks, Müslim Sarı made the following statement: "We find it appropriate to be more proactive in the upcoming period and explain the issue to the media. We will convene the Party Assembly on Wednesday. In the PM, there are not only friends who act within our framework; there are also those with different opinions; we think it will be rich in content. We will hold a group meeting on Tuesday. Our Chairman will speak and make some evaluations regarding the process we are in."
DIALOGUE COMMITTEE ESTABLISHED FOR "THOSE WHO STEPPED DOWN"
Announcing that a "dialogue committee" will be established to reduce internal party tensions and carry out the congress process on a legal basis, Sarı extended an olive branch to other cliques in the administration. Emphasizing that they do not want anyone to leave the party, Sarı continued: "We have decided to form a committee from within the MYK, as deemed appropriate by our Chairman. If there are people on the other side they find suitable, we want them to sit down and talk and make evaluations on the congress. They are our friends, not our enemies. While even CHP's votes alone are not enough to defeat the ruling party, we would not want our own friends to go to another party for political reasons. A situation like the closure of CHP is absolutely out of the question; no one has the power to do that."
