Yunus Koca announced his resignation from the İYİ Party membership after being removed from his position as the Manisa Provincial Chair.

“POLITICAL ETHICS AND ORGANIZATIONAL EFFORT WERE DISREGARDED”

Koca, who held a press conference at a hotel in the city alongside the dismissed board members, strongly criticized the removal process. Koca argued that the events were incompatible with political ethics and that the organizational effort was disregarded.

CLAIM OF “RESPONSIBILITY LIES WITH ŞENOL SUNAT”

Koca alleged that İYİ Party Manisa Deputy Şenol Sunat was behind his removal. Claiming that he and his team were subjected to mobbing, Koca stated that the party headquarters had been misinformed.

“I DO NOT ACCEPT THE CLAIM OF COORDINATION DEFICIENCY”

Rejecting the explanation of “coordination deficiency” verbally given as the reason for his removal, Koca emphasized that this decision was unacceptable both politically and morally.

“I CONDEMN THIS ANTI-DEMOCRATIC INTERVENTION”

Koca used the following statements in his announcement:

“This decision, made by an understanding that disregards the organization, refuses to communicate, and ignores elected officials, is neither politically nor morally acceptable. Under these circumstances, as a provincial chair elected by the will of the delegates, I declare that I do not accept this anti-democratic and unethical measure; I strongly condemn this unjust intervention against my person, the board members, and the will of our delegates.”

HE LEFT THE PARTY MEMBERSHIP

At the end of his statement, Koca announced that he had severed all ties with the party by saying, “To protect our honor, stance, and political ethics, I resign from my İYİ Party membership.”
