A drunk driver, who tried to escape on foot after leaving his car 200 meters behind the checkpoint in Bursa, was caught in an alley. When the driver tested positive for 1.39 promille of alcohol, he said, "Okay, the car is yours, I'm going home."

On Istanbul Road Avenue in Bursa, the Traffic Inspection Department teams of the Provincial Police Department faced a challenging situation with a driver.

LEFT HIS VEHICLE AND TRIED TO ESCAPE ON FOOT

The driver attempted to escape on foot by leaving his vehicle 200 meters before the checkpoint. Traffic police teams caught the individual in a side street.

"OKAY, THE CAR IS YOURS, I'M LEAVING"

After a search, the driver said, "My life is over." The breathalyzer test showed that he was 1.39 promille intoxicated. After blowing into the breathalyzer, the driver stated, "Okay, the car is yours, I'm leaving," expressing his desire to go home. The police teams responded, saying, "You will go to the police station."

HE WAS TAKEN TO THE POLICE STATION

While Ramazan Ç. was taken to the police station for his statement, a fine of 10,000 lira was imposed on his vehicle.
