A married couple in a car that collided with a truck in the Banaz district of Uşak lost their lives. The truck driver was taken into custody.

TRAPPED UNDER THE TRUCK
The truck with license plate 06 BEY 227, driven by Y.B. (61), collided with the car with license plate 64 FC 536, driven by Süruri Arslan (71), at the Susuz Junction on the Uşak-Ankara highway. The car, which was stuck under the front of the truck, was dragged.
HUSBAND AND WIFE LOST THEIR LIVES
Upon the report, medical, police, and fire crews were dispatched to the accident scene. Medical teams determined that the car driver and his wife, Nazmiye Arslan (71), who was beside him, had lost their lives.
After the investigation at the scene, the bodies of the Arslan couple were taken to the morgue of Banaz State Hospital. The truck driver, Y.B., was taken into custody. The highway, which had been closed due to the accident, was reopened to traffic after the work was completed.
