The lifeless body of 64-year-old Bekir Kurtoğlu, who went missing 6 days ago in Osmaniye, was found in an irrigation canal. Kurtoğlu had left his home on September 14th on his motorcycle and had not returned.
The lifeless body of 64-year-old Bekir Kurtoğlu, who had been missing for six days in Osmaniye, was found in an irrigation canal.
Bekir Kurtoğlu (64), who left his home in Bahçe village, Osmaniye, on September 14th with his motorcycle, was reported missing to the gendarmerie by his relatives when he did not return.
HIS LIFLESS BODY WAS FOUND
Following this, a search operation was initiated by the gendarmerie and AFAD teams. Bekir Kurtoğlu's motorcycle and slippers were found near the irrigation canal close to Gökçedam Village, leading to intensified search efforts in that area.
As a result of the efforts carried out by gendarmerie commando teams, underwater search and rescue teams, AFAD, and DSİ teams, Kurtoğlu's lifeless body was found approximately 20 kilometers away from the location where the slippers were discovered, within 3 kilometers of the side canal. After the examination, Bekir Kurtoğlu's body was taken to the morgue of Osmaniye State Hospital for an autopsy.
