Following the decision for an extraordinary election at Fenerbahçe, all eyes turned to former president Aziz Yıldırım. Yıldırım, whose possible candidacy is a matter of curiosity in the yellow-navy community, made striking statements on the issue.
“LET EVERYTHING BECOME CLEAR, THEN I WILL SPEAK”
Speaking to TV100, Aziz Yıldırım stated that he has not yet made a final decision on his candidacy, saying, “Let everything become clear. Let’s see who is a candidate and who is not. Let everything settle, and I will make a statement.”
“I HAVE NO DESIRE TO BE PRESIDENT”
Emphasizing his contribution to Fenerbahçe, Yıldırım said, “I don’t necessarily have a desire to be president, but if we can contribute to Fenerbahçe and if there is a formation that prevents the children from crying, then we will consider it.”
