Family doctors across Turkey have decided to go on strike for five days starting today. Therefore, family doctors and health centers will suspend health services throughout the week.

THEY WANT THE CANCELLATION OF THE PERFORMANCE-BASED SYSTEM

The strike initiated against the Family Physicians Contract and Regulation is a continuation of the work stoppage action that took place on November 5-7. Family doctors are reacting to the new regulation dated November 1, which regulates their working and personal rights, and are demanding the cancellation of the performance-based system, adjustment of salaries, and reduction of workload.
