The incident occurred on November 14 in a carpentry workshop in the Bozova district of Şanlıurfa. According to allegations, 20-year-old Habip A. pumped air into the rectum of 15-year-old Muhammed Kendirci, who was working as an apprentice at the same workplace. The child, whose internal organs were damaged, lost his life in the early hours at Harran University Medical Faculty Hospital, where he was receiving treatment.

In a statement regarding the matter from the Kendirci family, the following expressions were included: "As it is known, on 14.11.2025, in our district of Bozova, our only son Muhammed was sent as an intern to the workshop where he received furniture training at 75th Year Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and he was held in such a way that his hands and arms could not move, deprived of his liberty, and was killed by having his internal organs exploded by being pumped with compressed air by the workshop employee or employees. Our 15-year-old child, whose internal organs were rendered non-functional, lost his 5-day battle for life despite all the doctors' interventions."
