One of Turkey's established clothing brands, Yargıcı, has entered a process of changing ownership again. Founded in 1978 by Emir Yargıcı in Istanbul's Osmanbey district, the brand sold 55% of its shares to Kuwait-based Global Investment House (GIH) in 2011. Now, it is claimed that Tims&B, one of the leading production companies in the Turkish television sector, has taken action to acquire Yargıcı.

It has been claimed that efforts have begun for the acquisition of the famous Turkish clothing company Yargıcı from the Arabs. The head of the Kuwaiti investment fund, which owns 55% of Yargıcı, is Maha Al Ghunaim, who is ranked 94th on Forbes' Power Women 100 list. Recently, it has been reported that Vakko Holding has also shown interest in Yargıcı and has been in talks with the Kuwaiti main shareholder. However, these discussions have not yet yielded results. The Kuwaiti fund is expected to sell all its shares in Yargıcı and withdraw from Turkey by 2025.

THE NEW OWNER COULD BE TIMS&B

Tims&B is a production company that made a significant breakthrough in 2007 with the series "Kavak Yelleri" and gained international recognition in 2011 with the series "Muhteşem Yüzyıl." The company has also been involved in important projects such as "Suskunlar," "Teşkilat," "Maraşlı," and "Şahmaran." The acquisition of Yargıcı by Tims&B, which has particularly drawn attention with its successes in the Middle East and Latin America, could enable the brand to experience faster growth on its path to globalization. The future of Yargıcı seems to become clearer after a potential agreement with Tims&B.
