The fee for paid military service in 2025 has been announced!

The Ministry of National Defense announced that applications for paid military service in 2025 will start on January 7. This year, the fee for paid military service has become 243,000 TL.

The fee for paid military service has been redefined based on the civil servant salary increase and inflation data for 2025. The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced the inflation data for December. According to TÜİK, inflation increased by 1.03% in December, and the annual inflation rate reached 44.38%. The six-month inflation rate to be considered for civil servant and retiree salaries was measured at 15.75%. After the announcement of the inflation data, the fee for paid military service was also determined. The exact figure was announced by the Ministry of National Defense.

With the previous regulation, the amount for paid military service, which was fixed based on the increase rate of the civil servant salary coefficient, has become two hundred forty-three thousand thirteen lira forty-four kuruş (243,013.44 TL) according to the increase rate of the civil servant salary coefficient published by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance for the first six months of 2025. Applications for paid military service in 2025 have started as of January 7.
