BLOOD FLOWED IN THE YEARS-LONG FEUD
According to the information obtained, a dispute broke out in the Tetirli village of the Kösecili town of Besni between 87-year-old Mehmet Ali Kılıç and 85-year-old Çelem A., who were known to have a long-standing feud. The argument quickly escalated into an armed conflict. In the fight, pellets fired from a pump-action shotgun by Çelem A. hit Mehmet Ali Kılıç. Given initial medical intervention by health teams called to the scene, Mehmet Ali Kılıç was taken to Araban State Hospital. Despite all medical efforts, the elderly man could not be saved.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
