As Bitcoin (BTC) approaches new peaks, the level of financial literacy in the crypto market presents a concerning picture. A study conducted from March 2022 to October 2024, involving 12,045 investors, shows that daily investors, in particular, constitute the riskiest group with a financial literacy rate of only 27%. Large Investors Stand Out in Financial KnowledgeSaad Naja, CEO of PiP World, stated that the low financial literacy in the cryptocurrency market is a pressing issue that requires urgent action. According to the research findings, large investors make up the group with the highest financial literacy level at 96%. Long-term investors exhibit a financial literacy rate of 80%, while opportunistic investors show a rate of 64%. The research reveals that the crypto community generally makes "reactive, impulsive, and neurotic" decisions. This situation is considered one of the fundamental reasons for market fluctuations and losses. According to PiP World's report, the lack of financial education in the crypto market hinders investors from making informed decisions. Particularly, the low financial literacy level of daily investors leads to this group being more vulnerable to market risks.
