Images have emerged of two people who lost their lives due to the flood that occurred in the Kadirli district of Osmaniye, playing games in a flooded venue before the incident. Additionally, moments were recorded of five employees trapped in the restaurant waiting to be rescued.
In the Kadirli district of Osmaniye, footage has emerged showing the moments just before the flood that caused the deaths of 2 people who lost their lives in a vehicle they took refuge in due to the heavy rain.
2 PEOPLE DIED IN A VEHICLE SWEPT AWAY BY THE FLOOD
On April 7th, around 5:00 PM, after the heavy rainfall in Kadirli, the Bülbül Stream, which runs through the city center, overflowed. Hüseyin Kul (69) and Fatih Ambarcıoğlu (66) lost their lives in a car swept away by the flood in front of the Kadirli Municipality Health Affairs Directorate. The moments when the floodwaters arrived were recorded by some citizens on their mobile phones. The footage shows the floodwaters advancing down the street, some drivers trying to escape the area with their vehicles, while others were trapped in their cars. It was also revealed that moments just before the incident, when Hüseyin Kul and Fatih Ambarcıoğlu were playing a game in a local establishment, were recorded on a mobile phone as water filled the interior.

Meanwhile, the restaurant near the Kadirli Municipality was also flooded. As the water level rose, moments when 5 employees trapped in the restaurant were waiting to be rescued were also captured on a mobile phone camera. The recording showed that these individuals were in a state of great panic.
