In the Yüreğir district of Adana, citizens saw a corpse being swept away in an irrigation canal and notified the authorities. Teams arriving at the scene recovered the body, which belonged to a woman, from the water and sent it to the forensic medicine institute morgue for examination.
A chilling incident occurred in the irrigation canal located in the Alihocalı neighborhood of Yüreğir district in Adana. Citizens who saw a body drifting in the water in the morning hours reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
WOMAN'S BODY FOUND IN IRRIGATION CANAL
The body was brought to the shore with the efforts of firefighters who entered the water. During the examination, no identification was found on the body. The body, determined to belong to a woman, was taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute's morgue for autopsy.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
