In Istanbul, the first reaction from the CHP came from Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik regarding the detention order issued for 47 people, including Beşiktaş Municipality Mayor Rıza Akpolat, as part of the investigation launched against the organized crime group led by 'Aziz İhsan Aktaş'.

"ONCE AGAIN, WE ARE FACING A SETUP"

Reacting to the decision on his social media account, CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik stated, "Once again, we are facing a dawn operation, once again, we are facing a setup!"

"WE STAND BEHIND OUR MAYORS"

Çelik continued his statement with the following remarks:

"The effort to weaken the first party of Turkey with such reputation assassinations is futile.

We stand behind our mayors. We are aware that all these actions aim not at our mayors, but at subjugating politics and Turkey.

You cannot cover up the poverty, helplessness, and the cries of the people that roam this country!"
