President Erdoğan, in his first statement following the call for disarmament by the terrorist organization PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, stated, "We will take all necessary measures against any provocation that may arise during this process."

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke for the first time after the call for the PKK terrorist organization's leader Abdullah Öcalan to lay down arms.

In the program he attended, Erdoğan delivered important messages, stating, "As of yesterday, a new phase has begun. There is a historic opportunity to break down the wall of terror in front of our thousand-year brotherhood. It should be known that no member of this nation, whether Turk or Kurd, will forgive those who lead the process into a deadlock with ambiguous statements as in the past. We will monitor whether the requirements of the ongoing process are being fulfilled."

"WE WILL TAKE EVERY MEASURE"

In his statement, Erdoğan also said, "We believe that the most important issue is to carry out the process with patience and sincerity. We will take every measure against any provocation that may arise during this process. Turkey will not only disrupt the bloody games of imperialism but will also achieve its economic development goals. May the intention be good, and the outcome be good as well."
