Security camera footage has emerged regarding the death of police officer Melih Okan Keskin, who lost his life after being assaulted and suffering a brain hemorrhage during a fight at a vehicle inspection station in Ankara; the footage shows an employee driving a vehicle towards Keskin, punching him, and other staff members also getting involved in the scuffle.

DISPUTE TURNED INTO FIGHT
Police officer Melih Okan Keskin, who was on duty at the Batıkent Şehit Ramazan Çağlar Police Station, took his car to the vehicle inspection station in İvedikköy Neighborhood of Yenimahalle district for a routine inspection on Monday. A dispute broke out between Keskin and the station employees, which then escalated into a fight. During the fight, Keskin was assaulted by the employees.
SUSTAINED BRAIN HEMORRHAGE
Melih Okan Keskin, who was taken to Gazi University Hospital, sustained a brain hemorrhage and passed away three days later. Two employees of the vehicle inspection station, Y.K. and S.A., were detained in connection with the incident. After their procedures at the police station, the suspects were referred to the courthouse, where Y.K. was released under judicial control, while S.A. was arrested.
FOOTAGE EMERGED
Security camera footage related to the fight that led to Keskin's death has emerged. The footage shows the inspection station employee driving a car towards Keskin and then punching him. It also captured moments when other employees approached the police officer and a scuffle ensued.
