FLAMES REACHED HOMES
The fire, which started in an agricultural area near Saklıkent Canyon, is making it difficult for teams to intervene in the flames due to strong winds blowing at 50-70 km per hour. To stop the flames, 15 helicopters and 4 planes are fighting the fire from the air, while 72 water tenders, 4 water tankers, 2 bulldozers, 450 personnel, firefighting teams from Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, volunteers, and citizens are battling from the ground. As the teams continue their dedicated efforts, some houses in the village of Palamut in Kaş have burned down.
FAMOUS SAKLIKENT CANYON CLOSED TO VISITORS
It was announced that Saklıkent Canyon, which is world-famous and located within the borders of Antalya and Muğla, has been temporarily closed to visitors as a precautionary measure due to the fire's proximity.

Meanwhile, the areas affected by the forest fire that broke out yesterday in the Fethiye district of Muğla and was brought under control in 3.5 hours were captured on video with a drone. According to initial assessments, approximately 50 hectares of land were damaged in the fire.
