Snowfall was effective during the night hours in the high sections of Trabzon, Ordu, Rize, and Artvin in the Eastern Black Sea region. While Uzungöl and the Ayder and Kafkasör plateaus were covered with a white blanket, snow depth in the plateaus in Rize reached 20 centimeters in places. The first snow of the season fell on the Atabarı Ski Center in Artvin, while disruptions in transportation were experienced on the Borçka-Camili highway.
After the downpour that was effective in the Eastern Black Sea region, air temperatures dropped and the high-altitude areas were covered in snow. The region's important tourism centers were covered with a white blanket.
UZUNGÖL IN TRABZON WAS COVERED IN WHITE
In Trabzon, after the intermittent downpour, snowfall was seen in high-altitude areas as temperatures dropped during the night hours. The tourism center Uzungöl in Çaykara district was covered with a white blanket after the snowfall.
The high-altitude areas of Tonya district and Kadırga Plateau were also covered in white with the snowfall. The same scene occurred in some neighborhoods in the high-altitude areas of Şalpazarı district and in Sis Mountain and Alaca plateaus.

At Kafkasör Plateau and Atabarı Ski Resort, one of the city's tourism spots, trees and natural areas were covered with a white blanket. The first snow of the season fell at the ski resort.
