ALTINORDU WITHDREW FROM THE 2ND LEAGUE
Altınordu announced that it has decided not to compete in the TFF 2nd League for the 2026-2027 season due to the failure to find a suitable investor for the club.
YOUTH PLAYERS WILL BE TRAINED
The red-navy blue club stated on its official social media accounts that it will not participate in professional leagues at the senior team level starting from the new season, but will continue its mission of youth development and player training.
Altınordu's statement is as follows:
"As Altınordu FK, we have decided not to participate in the TFF 2nd League this season. During the 14-year period since we took over the rights of the football branch from Altınordu Sports Club in 2012, we have strived to represent the Altınordu emblem in a manner befitting its name. We have created significant awareness in the 'development' track in Turkish football. However, we are now tired.
Together with the management of Altınordu Sports Club, who stated that they could not undertake such a burden, we searched for an investor worthy of carrying the Altınordu emblem for a full year. Unfortunately, we could not find one. We have a promise to the children of this land.
As long as our hands and feet work and our minds function, we will be with them. There is much work to be done at the grassroots of Turkish football. We will strive for the healthy development of children's football from Edirne to Van. We respectfully announce to the football community that we will focus on our main goal, 'Young Football Player Development, Children's Football Ages 7-15'" were included in the statement.
