The suspect, who was following his ex-girlfriend in Istanbul Sultangazi, trapped her on the street with his car and then got out and assaulted her after hitting her car from behind.

The incident occurred in İsmetpaşa neighborhood around 23:30 yesterday. A person started following his ex-girlfriend who was going home with his car. The young woman, realizing that she was being followed, tried to lose him by entering the streets; however, when a car in front of her stopped on a street, the young woman had to stop her car as well. Her ex-boyfriend, who was following her, hit her car from behind with his car.

SHOUTED "HELP"

Shortly after, the person got out of the car and first tried to break the front left door of his ex-girlfriend's car, then attacked her. Not satisfied with this, the attacker hit and broke the rear window of the car with his elbow. At that moment, he also cursed, saying "This is just the beginning, call your boyfriend". The suspect got back into his car and reversed, then hit the young woman's car again. The young woman shouted "Help" and asked for help from the residents of the neighborhood.

FEARED AND RAN AWAY

Upon the reaction of the residents, the suspect fled the scene with his car. Health teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification. The young woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance. While the police continue their investigation into the incident, those moments were captured on the mobile phone cameras of the people around.
