İn Konya, İbrahim El Fidyen, a Syrian national with a restraining order against him, stabbed his wife Emine El Musa in the neck in front of their children during an argument, injuring her. Police have launched an operation to capture the fleeing attacker.
A woman in Konya was seriously injured after being stabbed by her husband, from whom she was in the process of separating.
HE CAME HOME DESPITE THE RESTRAINING ORDER
The incident occurred around 19:40 on Dündar Street in Akıncılar neighborhood, Selçuklu district center. Emine El Musa had previously filed a complaint against her husband Ibrahim El Fidyan, who had repeatedly subjected her to violence, and obtained a restraining order. Despite the restraining order, Ibrahim El Fidyan came home today and began arguing with his wife, Emine El Musa.
HE STABBED HIS WIFE AND FLED
As the argument escalated into a fight, Ibrahim El Fidyan stabbed Emine El Musa in the neck in front of their children. While Emine El Musa collapsed to the ground covered in blood, Ibrahim El Fidyan fled the house. Neighbors who heard the children's screams called the 112 Emergency Call Center and reported the situation. Upon the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. Injured Emine El Musa was taken to Meram Medical Faculty Hospital by ambulance.
The police have launched an operation to capture the fugitive Ibrahim El Fidyan and are continuing the investigation.
