ZERO WASTE FESTIVAL EXCITEMENT IN ISTANBUL
The Zero Waste approach, which has turned into a global environmental movement under the leadership of Emine Erdogan, Chair of the United Nations Zero Waste High-Level Advisory Board and Honorary Chair of the Zero Waste Foundation, has gained a new meeting point with the Zero Waste Festival starting today in Istanbul. Organized in collaboration with the Zero Waste Foundation and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, the festival will welcome visitors from June 4-7.
Istanbul Governor Davut Gul, who visited the festival held at Ataturk Airport under the auspices of the Istanbul Governorship, gave exclusive statements to Haberler.com.
"IT'S NOT JUST ENTERTAINMENT, IT ALSO HAS AN EDUCATIONAL ASPECT"
Istanbul Governor Davut Gul, answering questions from Haberler.com host Melis Yasar, stated that the festival appeals to people of all ages.
Gul said, "A festival is being experienced in the true sense of the word. When we look, we see that people of all ages are here and families are spending time together."
Drawing attention to the educational aspect of the festival, Governor Gul emphasized that the organization is not solely for entertainment. Gul stated, "This place is not just for entertainment, not just for festival purposes. It also has an educational aspect. What we learn at school and at home, we actually see and experience here. The experiences in the workshops are very valuable, and the treats are very valuable."
ARTISTS WILL TAKE THE STAGE
Referring to the concerts to be held within the festival, Gul invited visitors to the evening programs.
Governor Gul said, "We have artists who will take the stage starting at 6:30 PM. Rafet El Roman is here, Mazhar Alanson and his group are here. Many similar friends will take the stage."
