TECHNICAL TALKS TO BE HELD IN BÜRGENSTOCK
The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that technical-level talks will be held on June 21 in the town of Bürgenstock, Switzerland.
In addition to US and Iranian representatives, officials from Pakistan and Qatar are expected to participate in the talks as mediators.

WHAT DOES THE ISLAMABAD AGREEMENT INCLUDE?
Iran and the US announced on June 14 that they had reached a 14-point agreement, through mediation by Pakistan, envisaging an end to the war and the resolution of issues between the parties through diplomatic means.
The agreement, called the "Islamabad Agreement," was signed digitally by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and US President Donald Trump on June 18 and entered into force.
The agreement aims to reduce regional tension, normalize navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and address the fundamental disagreements between the parties, including sanctions and the nuclear program, through negotiations.
60-DAY NEGOTIATION PROCESS BEGINS
Following the talks in Switzerland, the parties are expected to begin a comprehensive negotiation process of approximately 60 days covering topics such as Iran's nuclear program, the future of sanctions, and regional security.
