33-year-old police officer Osman Özer, who was serving in Gümüşhane, lost his life due to a heart attack. During the ceremony held for the young officer, his pregnant wife burst into tears.
Police officer Osman Özer (33), who was working at the Provincial Police Department in Gümüşhane, fell ill at his home the previous night. Özer, determined to have suffered a heart attack, was taken to Gümüşhane State Hospital by health teams. Despite all interventions by doctors, the young police officer could not be saved and passed away.
FUNERAL CEREMONY HELD
A ceremony was held in front of the Şehit Olgun Gülay Additional Service Building of the Gümüşhane Provincial Police Department for the deceased police officer. At the ceremony attended by Gümüşhane Governor Cevdet Atay, Provincial Police Director İsmail Karasakal, provincial protocol, colleagues, and relatives, the Quran was recited and prayers were made.
PREGNANT WIFE BURST INTO TEARS
During the ceremony, his wife Selda Özer, who was learned to be pregnant, could not hold back her tears, while the grieving father Ekrem Özer, who lost his son at a young age, accepted condolences. After the prayers, Özer's body was sent to Istanbul for burial.
