It was stated that the Iranian negotiating delegation left Doha after an exchange of messages with the United States, and that this does not mean the negotiations have been interrupted. It was noted that a draft proposal aimed at ending the attacks by the US and Israel against Iran was conveyed to the parties for feedback.

Diplomatic contacts have accelerated to end the US and Israeli attacks on Iran. The Iranian negotiating delegation left Doha, the capital of Qatar, after exchanging messages with the US. The parties have begun evaluating a new draft proposal that envisages ending the attacks. The Tehran administration insists on 7 conditions for the war to end, including the lifting of the naval blockade. The remarks of Iranian official Mohsen Rezaei regarding the letter sent by US Vice President JD Vance also drew attention.

IRANIAN DELEGATION LEFT DOHA

A diplomat who spoke to Al Jazeera and did not disclose his name said that the Iranian delegation's departure from Doha did not mean the negotiations had ended. The delegation exchanged messages with the US before leaving.

During the diplomatic contacts, a draft proposal aimed at ending the US and Israeli attacks on Iran was also brought to the agenda. The parties shared the proposal with the relevant parties so that they could evaluate it and provide feedback. The possibility of holding a new meeting was also discussed in the talks.

THERE ARE 7 CONDITIONS ON TEHRAN'S TABLE

The Iranian administration wants the implementation of the 7-point plan it presented to the US to end the war. Tehran's 7 conditions are as follows:

The US lifting the naval blockade,

Releasing frozen Iranian assets,

Lifting US sanctions,

Ending restrictions on oil sales

Washington reducing its military presence in the region

Recognition of the new transit route in the Strait of Hormuz

Stopping the fighting on all fronts in the region, including Lebanon.

A 2-DAY PROPOSAL FOR THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ

The Strait of Hormuz holds an important place in Iran's negotiation plan. Tehran proposes reducing the envisaged time for reopening the strait from 7 days to 2 days if the US lifts the naval blockade and an agreement is reached.

However, Iran is not approaching a final agreement while the naval blockade continues. It wants the US to lift sanctions and meet Iran's other demands.

VANCE'S LETTER DREW ATTENTION IN TEHRAN

Secretary General of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaei, made noteworthy statements about the letter sent to him by US Vice President JD Vance.

Rezaei argued that the letter completely changed the Washington administration's stance. Describing the change in the US approach as "a very positive sign," Rezaei emphasized that this development was important for the diplomatic process.

NO COMPROMISE REACHED ON THE NUCLEAR PROGRAM

One of the most important disputes between the US and Iran is also the nuclear program. Washington wants Iran to limit its uranium enrichment activities, dilute its stock of highly enriched uranium, and open its nuclear facilities to international inspection.

Tehran, however, advocates keeping the nuclear program outside the talks aimed at ending the war. The Iranian administration states that this issue can only be addressed in more comprehensive and long-term negotiations.

Although the Iranian delegation has left Doha, diplomatic contacts continue. The new draft proposal before the parties is important in terms of possible steps toward ending the war.
