In the Alanya district of Antalya, private public bus driver Zekeriya Öner (44) reported to the police and the bank 4,900 euros that came out of the ATM where he stopped to deposit money on October 25. The euros were delivered to Nadir Akkoyun, the owner of the money, who was reached through the cooperative's camera recordings. Akkoyun said, "It was very touching that such people remain among us."
Zekeriya Öner (44), a private public bus driver in the Alanya district of ANTALYA, handed over 4,900 euros that had been left forgotten at the ATM he came to in order to deposit money to its owner, Nadir Akkoyun (46).
Zekeriya Öner, who had been working as a private public bus driver for 2 years on the Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University-Dinek Neighborhood route, stopped in front of an ATM in Kestel Neighborhood to deposit money on October 25 around 17:00 while returning from the university route. Meanwhile, after Öner noticed sounds coming from the ATM and pressed the cancel button to make a transaction, the machine dispensed 4,900 euros. Öner took the money and wanted to deliver it to the two people who had been at the ATM before him. Unable to reach these people, Öner contacted the police and the bank. Öner then handed the money over to Nadir Akkoyun, who reached him through the Alanya Private Public Buses Cooperative to which his bus is affiliated.

Zekeriya Öner said, "I was working on the university route that day. On my way back, I needed to deposit money. I asked the passengers for permission. When I got off, there were two people in front of the ATM. They were depositing money. I guess they were in a hurry. They rushed away from the ATM. The ATM was processing something at that moment and making sounds. I pressed cancel so I could cancel the transaction as soon as possible. At that moment, the ATM dispensed money. It was a wad of money; I couldn't tell how much it was. I took the money and turned around to see the people and give them information. At that moment, I guess they were in a hurry; they hurried away. I took the money and put it in my pocket so that nothing would happen to it. After that, I called the police station. I called the bank and gave them the information. Today, thanks to the cooperative, we found the owner of the money and handed it over."

Nadir Akkoyun, the owner of the money, said, "On that date, around 17:00, I deposited money into the ATM, but I was in a hurry and left without waiting for confirmation. After leaving, I checked the account. The money had not been credited to the account. We called the bank and waited for news. Then, thank goodness, our cooperative contacted us. They had identified it from the camera. I thank the friend very, very much for this sensitive behavior. Actually, more than finding the money, the fact that such people are still among us moved me deeply. It honored me very much."
