Iran launched an attack on Bat Yam, near Tel Aviv, with missiles that surpassed the Iron Dome air defense system. A missile hit an apartment in Bat Yam, and the attack was captured on camera, resulting in at least 6 deaths and over 200 injuries.
Iran launched nearly 80 ballistic missiles in two separate attacks on Israel. In the first of these attacks, sirens were reported to have sounded in northern Israel, particularly in Haifa, while in the second, areas in the central region, including Tel Aviv, were affected. The missiles that breached the Iron Dome air defense system caused widespread damage in Israel.
MISSILES PENETRATED THE IRON DOME
Iran attacked the cities of Bat Yam and Rehovot, south of Tel Aviv, with missiles that bypassed the Iron Dome air defense system. At least 6 people were killed and more than 200 were injured due to a missile hitting an apartment in Bat Yam. It is reported that 7 people are missing in the Bat Yam attack, and search and rescue operations are ongoing in the area. In Rehovot, it is reported that 40 people were injured.
One of the missiles hit a two-story house in the city of Tamra, where a large number of Israeli citizens of Palestinian descent live. In the attack, 4 women, including a 13-year-old girl, lost their lives, and 10 people were injured.
ISRAEL-IRAN CONFLICT
On June 13, Israel carried out extensive attacks targeting not only nuclear facilities in various Iranian cities but also the upper command of the military.
The Chief of General Staff of Iran, the Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, and several senior commanders, along with 9 nuclear scientists, were killed in these attacks.
Many countries, especially Turkey, condemned Israel.
