The Israeli army has admitted for the first time that they have killed approximately 71,000 Palestinians in their attacks on the Gaza Strip. The army also acknowledged that the actual number could be higher.

The Israeli army has confirmed for the first time the data from the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, stating that approximately 71,000 Palestinians have lost their lives in Israel's violent and bloody attacks that have been ongoing for two years, and admitted that the actual number may be higher.

The Israeli army had previously rejected the data announced by the Ministry of Health in Gaza, despite being verified by international organizations.

THE ISRAELI ARMY HAS ALSO ADMITTED TO THE MASSACRE

According to a report by Haaretz, the Israeli army is analyzing data to determine how many of those killed in Gaza were armed and how many were civilians, while it was reported that the army has accepted the Ministry of Health's estimate of approximately 71,000 Palestinians killed for the first time.

75,000 GAZANS HAVE DIED IN ISRAELI ATTACKS

The statement noted that some studies have shown that the death toll in Gaza may be higher than what the Ministry of Health has announced, and a study published in June 2025 revealed that approximately 75,000 Gazans had died in the attacks as of January 2025.

According to the data from the Ministry of Health in Gaza, since the beginning of Israel's attacks in October 2023, 71,667 people have lost their lives in the Gaza Strip. This figure includes those who died directly in the attacks but does not cover those who died as a result of hunger and disease caused by the attacks.

WHAT HAPPENED?

In the data announced by the Ministry, more than 90% of the deceased are recorded with names and identification numbers, but there is no distinction made between civilians and armed individuals. International organizations and researchers have examined the Ministry's data and found it reliable.

Despite being verified by international organizations, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs had described the figures regarding the number of dead and injured in Gaza provided by the Ministry of Health approximately a year and a half ago as "misleading and unreliable."
