In accordance with the CHP High Disciplinary Board decision, all decisions regarding party members who were referred to discipline, expelled, or subjected to sanctions during Özgür Özel's term have been revoked. Individuals expelled after November 4-5, 2023, particularly Özkan Yalım, will become CHP members again.
As discussions continue after the absolute nullity decision, the Chairman of the CHP High Disciplinary Board has also been determined. Mahir Polat was elected as chairman at the HDB meeting. Sezgin Kaya was appointed as the HDB Secretary, and Ahmet Ersen Özsoy as the Vice Chairman.
Following Kılıçdaroğlu's appointment as CHP Chairman, allegations arose that some members of parliament would be referred to disciplinary procedures and expelled from the party.
ALL EXPULSIONS AFTER THE 38TH CONGRESS CANCELED
While it is noted that expulsion requests and disciplinary processes may come to the agenda in future HDB meetings, the Board decided that expulsion procedures after the party's 38th Ordinary Congress would be considered invalid. A request letter was sent to the Central Executive Board (MYK) to notify the Supreme Court of the HDB decision regarding the cancellation of expulsions.
HERE ARE THE NAMES TO RETURN TO THE PARTY
With this decision, many individuals, including former CHP members of parliament Barış Yarkadaş, Gürsel Tekin, Berhan Şimşek, and Özkan Yalım, will become CHP members again.
Among those expelled from CHP during Özgür Özel's tenure as CHP Chairman were Gürsel Tekin, Barış Yarkadaş, Savaş Aras, Erkan Narsap, Zeki Şen, and Levent Çelik.
In addition to these names, among those referred to the High Disciplinary Board by the Central Executive Board (MYK) with a request for "precautionary definitive removal" and whose objections were rejected are individuals such as Yusuf Gögerkaya, Berhan Şimşek, Mustafa Yavuz, Zeynel Kızılkaya, Atakan Demirci, Koray Göbel, Ömer Kutlu, and Cevher Sönmez.
