CHP Chairman Özgür Özel's visit to the East and Southeast, covering Diyarbakır, Batman, Mardin, Şırnak, Hakkari, and Van, has begun. Özel was welcomed by a large group with Kurdish music in Diyarbakır, his first stop.

Özel then proceeded to the hotel where he will stay, accompanied by a convoy. He will start his meetings in the 6 cities of the East and Southeast tomorrow in Diyarbakır, having breakfast with women's civil society organizations in the city.

Özel will then visit the Diyarbakır Governorship, meet with tradesmen in the Sur district, have lunch with factory workers, visit Amed Sportif Faaliyetler Club, CHP Provincial Presidency, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, and attend the City Council Meeting.
