In the Çamaş district of Ordu, sisters Fatma and Melehat Gümüş, who left home to pick hazelnuts, vanished without a trace. Following search efforts, the lifeless bodies of the Gümüş sisters were found in a stream bed.

LIFELESS BODIES FOUND IN THE STREAM BED
According to the information obtained, relatives of Fatma (65) and her sister Melehat Gümüş (60), living in Sarıyakup Neighborhood, reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center that they had not heard from them. During the search conducted by their relatives, the two sisters were found in the stream bed.
In the examination carried out by medical teams who arrived at the scene, it was determined that the Gümüş sisters had lost their lives. On the other hand, it was learned that the two sisters had left home in the morning to collect hazelnuts.
According to initial assessments, it was evaluated that the two sisters may have lost their balance and fallen from the cliff into the stream bed while they were in the garden. It was learned that the exact cause of death would be determined after the examination and autopsy procedures. Gendarmerie teams continue their investigations into the incident.
