The incident began when a driver recorded a man wearing a white hat and glasses in the adjacent lane, comparing him to Jeffrey Epstein. The rapid sharing of the footage on platforms like "X" and TikTok with titles like "Epstein is alive, here’s the proof!" led to the video reaching millions of views.

While some users argued that the person in the footage was Epstein, others claimed it was a "deepfake" or a lookalike who had undergone cosmetic surgery.

REVEALED HIS TRUE IDENTITY: "I AM PALM BEACH PETE"

After the video went viral, the mysterious man in the footage released a statement video to break his silence. Identifying himself as "Palm Beach Pete," the Florida resident clearly stated that he is not Jeffrey Epstein.

The man, who noted that the footage was taken without his knowledge, said the following:

"Hey folks, I’m Palm Beach Pete. Someone recorded me driving on I-95 without my knowledge, and the video went viral. I had put my phone aside for 4 hours, and when I returned, I saw that everywhere was flooded with this video and comments. It has received incredible engagement.
