An interesting incident occurred at a wedding in Kenya. A 28-year-old bicycle mechanic, Odhiambo Ouma, attempted to board a helicopter without permission. At the moment the helicopter was taking off, Ouma grabbed onto the landing gear and lifted off. The guests at the wedding watched this dangerous moment in astonishment. It was observed that Ouma continued to hold on as the helicopter flew over the trees until he was out of sight.
In a luxurious wedding held in the southwest of Kenya, a man made headlines by attempting to board a helicopter without permission. The man clung to the helicopter as it took off, rising into the air.
In the footage taken at the wedding and quickly spread on social media, a crowd can be seen gathering around the helicopter. At first glance, everything seems normal, but as the helicopter begins to lift off, 28-year-old bicycle mechanic Odhiambo Ouma suddenly grabs onto the helicopter's landing gear.
These dangerous moments, which we are not accustomed to seeing at weddings in Turkey, are watched with astonishment by those attending the wedding. The footage shows the man continuing to hold on until the helicopter flies over the trees and nearly disappears from view.
According to Uriri district police chief Enrico Lyomu, the man initially asked for money from those in the helicopter. When this request was denied, he asked, "Can you take me for a ride?" and when that request was also rejected, he found a solution by forcibly clinging to the helicopter.
When the pilot realized the situation, he had to make an emergency landing in a nearby empty area. According to local media reports, the man, who was desperately holding on in the air, felt a great relief when the helicopter landed as his arms began to ache from exhaustion.
After the incident, the police conducted an operation to capture the man at his home. Three police officers had to intervene to subdue the suspect, who violently resisted arrest.
Police chief Lyomu stated, "This man put many lives, including his own, in danger. Legal action will be initiated against him. This incident should serve as a warning to anyone considering such dangerous actions."
The incident occurred during the extravagant wedding of Kenyan singer Prince Indah on Sunday, and it was noted that one of the passengers in the helicopter was famous YouTuber Oga Obinna.
Such incidents are sometimes carried out by individuals interested in luxury vehicles like helicopters, especially at events attended by celebrities or the wealthy in Kenya. However, police officials warn that such behaviors endanger both the individuals themselves and the lives of others, emphasizing that severe penalties will be imposed.
