While there were no casualties in the fire, which broke out for an undetermined reason, allegations of sabotage have come to the fore.

In a statement made by the production company on their social media account, it was stated, "A large fire broke out at the set where we were filming around 01:30 last night, and unfortunately, the Şakir Paşa Mansion was completely burned down. Due to the absence of any work on set at that time and no one being present, expert teams are comprehensively assessing the cause of the fire and the possibility of sabotage."

In the continuation of the statement, it was mentioned, "After we present our 3rd episode to you this Sunday, we will have to take a short break from our series. The grandchildren of the Şakir Paşa Family had released a statement last week, stating, "The series is being filmed without our permission." Additionally, a child of the family's grandchild had filed a lawsuit to stop the broadcast, but the request was dismissed.
