A 66-year-old father was found dead in his vehicle while going to the university campus to pick up his daughter in Erzurum.
A father who came to the university campus in Erzurum to pick up his daughter was found dead in his vehicle.
FATHER FOUND DEAD IN VEHICLE
The incident occurred in front of the Faculty of Engineering at Atatürk University, where Hikmet Gencal (66), who works in the spare parts business, arrived in his vehicle to pick up his daughter after school. After a while, his daughter came to the vehicle and noticed that her father was motionless inside, and she immediately informed her relatives. Upon notification, police and emergency services were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that Gencal had passed away in the vehicle, which was opened by breaking the rear side window.

While the police continue their investigation into the incident, Gencal's body was taken to the morgue by ambulance. Meanwhile, Hikmet Gencal's arrival in front of the school with his vehicle was captured on security cameras.
