The 8th Summit of the European Political Community, which brings together European Union (EU) member states and European countries outside the Union, was held in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. The summit, themed "Building the Future: Unity and Stability in Europe," was attended by leaders of the 27 EU member states as well as representatives of candidate countries.
