It was seen that the mother had shared a photo of herself kissing her child before the accident with the note, "I'm not actually afraid of death; the only thing I fear is that when he calls 'mom,' he won't find that voice."
In Giresun, three siblings along with their mother and father lost their lives after a truck loaded with iron rear-ended their vehicle. The family was laid to rest in Trabzon, and the photos and posts left behind from the family broke hearts.
TRUCK HIT VEHICLES WAITING AT RED LIGHT
The accident occurred on May 23 at the Karadeniz Coastal Road Giresun Port Junction. The truck with license plate 55 K 4065, driven by Musa Uzun (59), traveling from Giresun to Trabzon, rear-ended the car with license plate 34 PMS 61, driven by Ali Yıldız, which was waiting at a red light. The swerving car then hit the vehicle ahead driven by his relative Ferhat Yıldız (45) with license plate 34 PNM 09, which in turn collided with another truck driven by Köksal Yusuf Halil (31).
In the chain-reaction accident involving four vehicles, driver Ali Yıldız, his wife Melek, and their children Hamza (7), Hasan (7), and Sadem Yağmur Yıldız (15) lost their lives. Musa Uzun, Ferhat Yıldız, Rana Meltem Yıldız (20), Fatma Yıldız, İlhan Özdemir, Sümeyye Yıldız (9), and Eymen Yıldız (16) were injured in the accident. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulances dispatched to the scene.
While the injured continue their treatment in hospitals, it was reported that the health condition of Rana Meltem Yıldız, the daughter of the deceased family, is improving. Meanwhile, the accident was captured on security camera.
"THE ONLY THING I FEAR IS THAT WHEN HE CALLS OUT 'MOM,' HE WON'T FIND THAT VOICE"
All that remains of the family, who reportedly set out from Istanbul to their hometown Trabzon for the Eid al-Adha holiday, are the family photos they took together. The last social media post of mother Melek Yıldız, showing the July 15 Martyrs' Bridge with the note "Not in cafes or on peaks. We'll all be in the village next week. Happy holidays to everyone," accompanied by music, has also surfaced.
The truck driver Musa Uzun, taken into custody after his treatment, was arrested by the court to which he was referred following his procedures.

These are things that cannot be described or expressed."
Stating that the injured are not in life-threatening condition, Sunguroğlu added, "Two cousins had set out from Istanbul. The other family is undergoing hospital treatment.
