While the crisis in the CHP continues after the "absolute nullity" decision, the two deputies to whom Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu offered positions for the MYK he plans to form have declined. It has been learned that Gürsel Erol and Ali Öztunç have communicated they will not accept the role.
Mobility continues in the CHP following the court's "absolute nullity" decision. While it is stated that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was reinstated as the general chairman, is continuing his contacts for the new Central Executive Board (MYK) structure, a striking development occurred.
It has been learned that CHP Elazığ Deputy Gürsel Erol and CHP Kahramanmaraş Deputy Ali Öztunç, who are among the names close to Kılıçdaroğlu, have refused to take on roles in the MYK. According to information relayed by NTV Ankara correspondent Özgür Akbaş, both deputies communicated to Kılıçdaroğlu that they do not wish to undertake such a duty due to the process.
Gürsel Erol and Ali Öztunç "WE WILL NOT ACCEPT A DUTY IN THIS PROCESS" While it was stated that both deputies were consulted following the allegations discussed in the corridors, it was expressed that Erol and Öztunç displayed a common stance.
It was reported that the two figures said, "We will not accept such a duty in this process. The party is important to us. It is not possible to accept this duty after the picture we witnessed yesterday."
"REMOVE US FROM THE LIST" MESSAGE The report also stated that the two deputies requested that their names not appear on the MYK list.
It was alleged that Gürsel Erol and Ali Öztunç used the expressions, "Please remove us from the list; if you do not, we will make a press statement."
Meanwhile, Gürsel Erol had become the first deputy the CHP brought out in Elazığ after 44 years. Ali Öztunç, on the other hand, was one of the names elected on behalf of the CHP in Kahramanmaraş after many years.
