It has been revealed that Cengiz Karademir, who was found dead in his home in Gaziantep six years ago, was murdered. The police's thorough investigation has lifted the veil of secrecy surrounding the murder. Karademir's daughter, N.K., confessed during cross-examination that her mother's boyfriend killed her father by strangling him.
In 2019, Cengiz Karademir (48) was found dead in his home in the Şirinevler neighborhood of the Şehitkamil district in Gaziantep. Initially recorded as a natural death, the investigation deepened by the police revealed a brutal crime.
CONTRADICTORY STATEMENTS
As a result of the investigations, it was determined that the deceased's ex-wife E.U. sold her house a year after the incident and moved to Karabük with her boyfriend Ş.A. The teams, finding the situation suspicious and deepening the investigation, detained Cengiz Karademir's daughter N.K., his ex-wife E.U., and her boyfriend Ş.A. The suspects, whose statements were taken, claimed they were not at home at the time of the incident, but the police, finding their statements inconsistent, determined through technical work that all three were indeed at home during the incident. Later, with an additional report requested from the forensic medicine, it was established that Cengiz Karademir had been strangled to death.
EX-WIFE'S BOYFRIEND STRANGLED HIM TO DEATH
In a simultaneous operation conducted in Istanbul and Karabük, the victim's wife E.U., daughter N.K., and her boyfriend Ş.A. were taken into custody by the police and subjected to cross-examination. During the interrogation and investigations, it was revealed that there had been long-standing financial disputes between the victim Cengiz Karademir and his wife E.U. During the cross-examination, the victim's daughter N.K. confessed that her mother's boyfriend Ş.A. had strangled her father Cengiz Karademir to death.
ALL WERE ARRESTED
After their procedures at the police station, E.U., Ş.A., and N.K. were sent to the courthouse and were arrested by the magistrate's court.
