The Constitutional Court rejected the application filed by the Yenilik Party for the name and emblem of the YENİ Party to be deemed invalid. With the decision, there is no longer any obstacle to the YENİ Party using its current name and emblem.
The Constitutional Court (AYM) ruled on the objection regarding the name and emblem of the YENİ Party. The request by the Yenilik Party for the YENİ Party's name and emblem to be invalidated and for it to be removed from the political party registry was rejected.
YENİLİK PARTY'S OBJECTION NOT ACCEPTED
The Yenilik Party had applied to the Constitutional Court with a request that the YENİ Party's name and emblem be deemed invalid and that it be removed from the political party registry.
The High Court, evaluating the application, rejected the request in question.
YENİ PARTY WILL CONTINUE TO USE ITS NAME
With the Constitutional Court's rejection decision, the request to deem the YENİ Party's name and emblem invalid did not find acceptance. The party will be able to continue using its current name and emblem.
