The names of the individuals appointed as trustees to replace Cevdet Konak, the mayor of Tunceli from the DEM Party, and Mustafa Sarıgül, the mayor of Ovacık from the CHP, who were removed from their positions on the grounds of having received prison sentences for "membership in the PKK/KCK terrorist organization," have been announced.

The Ministry of Interior announced that trustees have been appointed to the municipalities of Tunceli and Ovacık.

In a statement from the ministry, it was noted that DEM Party's Tunceli Mayor Cevdet Konak and CHP's Ovacık Mayor Mustafa Sarıgül were sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison for the crime of "membership in the PKK/KCK terrorist organization."

THE NAMES OF THEIR SUCCESSORS HAVE BEEN REVEALED

Tunceli Mayor Cevdet Konak, who was removed from office, was replaced by Tunceli Governor Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu, and CHP's Ovacık Mayor Mustafa Sarıgül was replaced by Ovacık District Governor Hüseyin Şamil Sözen as trustee.
