STATEMENT FROM THE MINISTRY OF NATIONAL DEFENSE
In a statement regarding the matter from the Ministry of National Defense, the following was stated: "Our heroic comrade, Transportation Specialist Sergeant Selman Akarsel, who was seriously injured in the military vehicle accident in which Martyr Infantry Specialist Sergeant Yusuf Açay was martyred on March 24 in Ağrı / Doğubeyazıt, could not be saved despite all the interventions at the hospital and has become a martyr."
