A 64-year-old patient, H.O., who went to the hospital with abdominal pain and walking problems, was found to have a 26-kilogram tumor in his abdomen. After the decision was made for surgery, the tumor in the patient's abdomen was successfully removed in an operation. The operation was performed by General Surgery Specialist Opr. Dr. İsmet Çelik and Associate Professor Dr. Aydın Aktaş's team. Opr. Dr. İsmet Çelik stated in a post on his social media account that the 55x60 centimeter tumor was removed under suitable conditions after the necessary preparations, saying, "I operated on the largest tumor of my professional career. We likely removed a mass originating from the left kidney. The patient was taken to intensive care as a precaution."
