The PFDK imposed a 30-day ban and a fine of 200,000 TL on Adana Demirspor manager Bedirhan Durak and Gaziantep FK president Memik Yılmaz due to illegal betting advertisements.

The Professional Football Discipline Committee recently announced the penalties for the managers of Adana Demirspor and Gaziantep FK, who were referred to the committee due to illegal betting advertisements.

THEY RECEIVED A BAN AND A FINE

In a statement from the committee, it was said, "ADANA DEMİRSPOR A.Ş. administrator BEDİRHAN DURAK has been penalized with a 30-DAY BAN and a fine of 200,000.-TL due to unsportsmanlike conduct, (by majority vote) GAZİANTEP FUTBOL KULÜBÜ A.Ş. President MEMİK YILMAZ has been penalized with a 30-DAY BAN and a fine of 200,000.-TL due to unsportsmanlike conduct, (by majority vote) it has been decided."

WHAT HAPPENED?

Adana Demirspor President Bedirhan Durak and Gaziantep FK President Memik Yılmaz were referred to the PFDK due to illegal betting.

Club President MEMİK YILMAZ has been referred to the PFDK with precautionary measures starting from 29.10.2024 due to facilitating the broadcasting of an advertisement of a company alleged to be an illegal betting company in the stadium during the same match, in accordance with Article 57 of the Football Discipline Regulation."
