It was determined that some inmates at the Kırıkkale Keskin Type T Closed Prison attempted to smuggle drugs through underwear that had been soaked in the substance. Thanks to the vigilance of the prison staff, an operation was launched regarding the incident, resulting in the arrest of 19 suspects.
In a statement made by the Kırıkkale Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was reported that an attempt was made to deliver narcotic substances to some inmates in the Keskin Type T Closed Prison by soaking items such as underwear.
NOTICED THANKS TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERSONNEL
Following the incident, which was noticed thanks to the attention of the prison staff, an investigation was initiated by the Keskin Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
SIMULTANEOUS OPERATION
Within the scope of the investigation carried out upon the instruction of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, simultaneous operations were conducted by the Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams at the addresses of the identified suspects.
During the searches, 219 synthetic drug pills and 1 mobile phone, which was deemed to be used in drug trafficking, were seized. 19 suspects, who were detained by the gendarmerie teams, were arrested by the court to which they were brought after their procedures.
