Fenerbahce, who continue their transfer work, are preparing to reinforce their defensive line. Kojo Peprah Oppong, a 22-year-old Ghanaian center-back for whom an agreement has been reached with Nice, has arrived in Istanbul to complete the transfer procedures. It has been reported that the Yellow-Navy Blues will pay a transfer fee of 12 million euros for the young defender.
The countdown has begun for Fenerbahce's new transfer. Kojo Peprah Oppong, whom the yellow-navy blues have reached an agreement with Nice for, has arrived in Istanbul. The 22-year-old Ghanaian center-back will sign the contract binding him to Fenerbahce after his medical checks.
ARRIVED IN ISTANBUL
Oppong, with whom Fenerbahce has been continuing transfer negotiations, has set foot in Istanbul to complete his procedures. The young defender will finalize the official formalities after passing his medical examinations.
12 MILLION EURO TRANSFER FEE
According to L'Equipe's report, Fenerbahce will pay Nice a transfer fee of 12 million euros for the transfer of Kojo Peprah Oppong. The agreement also includes a sell-on clause. Nice will receive 10 percent of the sale price if the Ghanaian player is transferred to another club in the future.
FOUR-YEAR SIGNING
It has been stated that Oppong will sign a 4-year contract with Fenerbahce if no issues arise in his medical checks. Thus, the yellow-navy blues will strengthen their defensive line with the 22-year-old Ghanaian center-back.
NICE HAD BOUGHT HIM FOR 2.7 MILLION EUROS
Nice had added Oppong to their squad last summer from Swedish side Norrkoping for 2.7 million euros. The young defender, who has a contract with the French club until June 2029, was not included in the 20-man squad for the match against Lorient last Saturday, which ended 0-0.
