The assaulted officer stated, "I was on duty with my team at the place where Gökhan U. was supposed to meet. I sat in a place where I could see the vehicle used by Gökhan U. When Gökhan U. came out from the meeting place, he pointed to the place where I was sitting to the employees with him. A group of 8-10 people coming out from inside approached me. They asked me what I was waiting for and tried to take me away.
I started walking, saying that I was a police officer. They took the keys to the police vehicle from my pants. One of the individuals said, 'We've been looking for someone to hit for days, who the hell are you?' They started to assault me along with the group next to him," he said.
