In the TFF 2nd League White Group, Altay, which confirmed its relegation two weeks before the end of the season by drawing 1-1 at home against Kepez Spor last week, is now focused on the ordinary general assembly meeting in May. The 111-year-old rooted club of Turkish football is going through very difficult days.

THE CURRENT PRESIDENT WILL NOT BE A CANDIDATE

It has been learned that the current president of Altay, Süleyman Özkaral, will not continue in his position. President Özkaral, who is preparing to determine the congress date before the ordinary general assembly to be held in May, has been reported not to run for re-election. Süleyman Özkaral, who took office in the extraordinary election held on March 29, 2024, faced backlash from fans after the club's relegation.
